Types of Packaging
There are many different types of packaging used today. The following is a list of several of the products that are commonly used in our industry.

Rigid Setup Boxes

A rigid setup box is made from a non-bending board with the corners being taped ( stayed ) together to form a durable box. These boxes can be made with just the tape or they can be wrapped with an array of papers to enhance the product being packaged.

Slipcases

A slipcase is a package that is usually used to hold a 3-ring binder. Slipcases are usually constructed from a heavy board to make it last for many years.

Slashcase

A slashcase is a package that is usually used as a manual or magazine storage package. The sides of a slipcase are angled down so that the product inside is easily accessable.

Binder

A binder is commonly referred to as a 3-ring binder. It is wrapped with paper inside and out and a metel ring is riveted on to it.

Journal

A journal is commonly used as a diary or sketch book.

Book Style Boxes

A book style box is a combination of a rigid box and a binder.

Hinged Boxes

A hinged box is a general term used when two boxes are attached on one side and swing closed.

Shopping Bags

Shopping bags come in many different colors, sizes and materials. Plastic and paper are the two most common types of materials used.

Folding Cartons

Folding cartons are usually made with a bending board. Creases are put in the board so that the board will fold over to form the box.
