| How to size |
When ordering a rigid box you will order it Width X Length X Depth. It is also assumed that this is the base size so that it fits the product that you are packaging. Unless otherwise told we will give the cover the proper allowance, to obtain the necessary clearance needed for the particular material being used. Fit of the cover to the base is adjustable depending upon the fit wanted.

| Things to consider |
|
When considering the paper for your rigid box, take into consideration that if it is a lined paper, the lines will run vertical on 2 panels and will run horizontal on the other 2 panels. You also want to make sure that you select a durable enough paper so that when it gets to its end user it is not damaged.

| Foils |
|
Foil coated papers are nice looking but require a lot more care when handling. If the box gets a scratch or a dent in it will stay there permanently. Foils also are not glueable to themselves, you get some what of a bond but not a true tear bond. Foils also tend to edge curl do to the nature of the material so a bit more is needed for waste.
